We're collecting pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, bills AND VIRTUAL CHANGE! Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Community Partners of Dallas. Change is Good encourages kids to collect change to change the lives of abused and neglected children in Dallas County.

Our family is serving as the Chairs for the Community Partners of Dallas (CPD), Change is Good event, Sunday, Oct. 5, at NorthPark in the Pumpkin Patch Garden. Change is Good, est. 2007, is a new organization for us but as we learned more about this event, it ignited a passion within us about continuing the legacy of serving and giving back. What is unique about Change is Good - is kids of all ages can participate. Leading up to and at the event, kids find ways to collect coins to raise money for families and kids who CPD serve. (victims of domestic violence). ids helping kids is at the center of the mission for CPD. This year, fostering this spirit of generosity has become a priority for our family and we thought this was a perfect event for us to teach our kids about helping others. At the event, kids use their coins they collected ahead of the event to trade for prizes. I love this teaches our kids about earning money and then giving back to others.
